Members of "No to Coal Davao" and Greenpeace march at the historic Freedom Park in Davao City. The march is part of a global day of action, with more than 70 events in 12 countries demonstrating the strength of a global movement that is working to ‘end the age of coal’. Greenpeace, 350.org, Avaaz.org, and other global partners support the growth of grassroots activism that is essential in winning the coal fight. All over the world, communities, business groups and civil society are standing up and taking bold steps to pressure their governments to switch from coal to clean, sustainable, renewable energy.
