Shoot: Action against Nuclear Plant Krsko in Ljubljana
GP0STO3T8
More than 20 Greenpeace activists from Italy, Slovenia and Austria protests in the city center of Ljubljana against the transport of the second steam generator to the Slovenian nuclear power plant Krsko. The action was already planned for the day before, but police harassment prevent the action and activists were held on for hours without any reason on the stateborder. After protests and the intervention of the foreign office the Slovenian authorities had to accord the right of freedom of opinion to the activists and let their protests start. Dr. Andreas Havelka says “The earthquake endangered nuclear power plant constitutes a dramatic risk potential for entire Europe and should therefore be deactivated."
