Shoot: Toxics Action Langoya in Norway

GP0BPR
Activists from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland stop the Norwegian barge Hein from dumping hazardous waste on the island Langoya in the Oslo Fjord. The waste is from an incineration plant in Copenhagen, Denmark. As Greenpeace reveals, Denmark has been exporting hazardous waste from incinerators for years. The barge was on the way to the uninhabited island Langoya, Norway, part of which is a nature reserve. Greenpeace is calling on Environment Minister Hans Christian Schmidt to immediately end the dirty practice of exporting hazardous waste.
